Putting On Grandpa’s Legacy

In a past blog post, I talked about trying to wear my grandpa’s cap, noting that my head is too big for it (hopefully not because of pride!)

I did start to take out the seams some and I hope to have it resewn so I can wear it.

Recently I tried it on along with one of Grandpa’s work shirts which I have around to wear when I am in the shop.

I can’t say I look as good as Grandpa did, but it made me feel close to him wearing his cap and shirt.

I grateful for these reminders of my grandpa. I am still learning how to fit into them along with the legacy he left me.

But I’m trying, Grandpa. I surely am trying.
