Grandpa Ednor was a man of many unique sayings. They have become part of the pantheon of our family and are oft repeated. Periodically I will be sharing them here as tribute and in the hopes that they warm your heart as well.
“Your freedom goes so far as the nose on my face.”
Background: The story from my parents is that an immigrant arrived in America and as soon as he got off the boat he started shouting, “I’m free! I’m free!” and began waving his arms about in celebration.
At which he accidentally bopped a fellow passenger nearby in the nose!
